White Race Decreasing SOME STARTLING FACTS Linked with the serious decline in the birth-rate of almost every great white-peopled nation is the menace of the preponderating black and yellow races, whose birth-rate grows rapidly higher. Investigations made by the "Sunday Chronicle" revealed a startling contrast between what scientists describe as the “race suicide” of the white peoples and the steadily-increas-ing fertility of the coloured races. It is estimated that the latter are doubling their number every 30 years. Here are the facts:— During the last ten years the .birthrate of Britain has fallen from 20.4 per thousand to the present rate of 15.3. In France the birth-rate per thousand has dropped within the past 20 years from 23.6 to 18.3. Germany from 27.1 to 16.1. United States 24.3 to 18.7, and Italy 32.4 to 24.3. Japan has a population to-day of 89 millions. In 1913 it was 53 millions. The annual rate of increase in Japan is estimated at 700,000. In 20 years the population of China has jumped, from 334 to 462 millions—approximately a quarter of the total population of the world. The Indian Empire, including Burma, had in 1910 a total population of 310 millions. Today it is 327 millions. The birth-rate has risen from 24.6 in 1912 to 38.5 per thousand. The native population of Africa has jumped from 18 millions in 1910 to 32 millions.

When shown these figures by the "Sunday Chronicle,” Dean Inge said: "The white race will prevail wherever Christianity prevails. Christianity can never fail. “Therefore I say that the white races will remain pre-eminent till the world ends. It Is indeed deplorable to note the decreasing birth-rates, but this, like everything else under God's jurisdiction, will right itself In the end. Our civilisation has borne the world’s burdens since it began. "Let us pray that our industrial and economic problems may soon be lifted, and that more and more babies will be born into a .world made happier by suffering.”
