Relief Workers’ Position EXEMPTION CAMPAIGN To endeavour to arrive at a common policy in regard to hie campaign for the exemption of relief workers from payment of the August levy a conference between the various relief workers’ organisations is being arranged. At a meeting of the United Front organisation last evening, five delegates were appointed to confer with the relief workers’ section of the Labour movement, and the unemployed workers’ movement upon this point. A new executive of twelve members was elected. Ten of- these are delegates representing the married workers, and the others representatives of the single mon. Officers, who will also serve on the executive, were elected as follow: — President, Mr. G. Bracefield; secretary, Mr. F. Roberts;, treasurer, Mr. Elliott; organiser, Mr. T. Kelly.
