OVATION FOR BOXER
“Young” Stribling in Sydney (Rec. June 23, 10.40 p.m.) Sydney, June 23. The boxer “Young” Stribling arrived by the Monterey. He received an ovation and later was welcomed enthusiastically at the Hotel Australia. He told his interviewers that he would be able to get himself down to 12st. 61b. for his fight shortly with Ambrose Palmer.
