An undetermined number of persons -were killed early on Wednesday at Cuyutlan, in the State of Colima, by an earthquake and tidal wave that destroyed the town, state messages from Guadaljara. Thirty bodies have been* recovered, and survivors searched the ruins for additional bodies, although it is feared that the mountainous waves that swept in over the small Pacific resort town carried many away. Extensive damage has been caused all up and down the coast, leading to fears that the number of dead might b. great.
