RELIEF RATIONS
Criticised by Workers 200 MEET AT WAINUI Dissatisfaction with the rations issued and the conditions generally was expressed by some 200 relief workers on the Wainui Hill at a meeting yesterdav. Mr. W. Nash. M.P.. and Mr. D. McKenzie, Mayor of Petone, visited the men and discussed the position with them A visit was also paid to the Koro Koro job. It is proposed to hold a meeting of the relief workers in the Petone Borough Council Chambers at 7.30 p.m. on Friday. Mr. Nash and Mr. McKenzie will attend to discuss the position. Complaints concerning the rations will ne received and tabulated and handed on to the Government.
