AUTUMN EXHIBITION

Academy of Fine Arts A further sale lias been made in connection with the autumn exhibition of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, now in its second week at the Art Gallery. This is the water-colour “Farmyard,” by Miss I). K. Richmond. In order to encourage the study of art among the young, the academy has invited the senior pupils of the secondary schools to visit the exhibition, and several of the colleges have availed themselves of this opportunity. The exhibition will remain open during tlie day time and every evening until next Saturday, when it will be closed after the drawing of the public art union at nine o’clock.
