NO-STRIKE DECISION
Men in Kaitangata Coal Mine BIG ORDERS IN HAND By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, June 14. A ballot held to-day by the Kaitangata miners decided against a proposal to strike in sympathy with the other miners. . _ Of the 205 votes cast, 116 were ngainst the proposal to strike and 8J were in favour. The men are working under an agreement which has approximately a year to run. « , . It was stated by the chairman of directors, Mr. McSkimming, that there had never been any suggestion or trouble between the men and the owners Heavy orders for coal were being received and the output was entirely satisfactory.
