Sullivan Beats Cossill By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ashburton. June 1-1. In a heavyweight professional contest Billy Sullivan (12st. 21b), of Hastings, beat Jack Cossill (12st.), of Palmerston North, on a technical knock-out in the twelfth of a fifteen-round bout. Sullivan showed greater experience and won with a tremendously powerful right. Cossill was very fast on his feet and put up a game fight.
