To and From Dominions

In the House of Commons, the Dominions Secretary, Mr, J. 11. Thomas, informed Major H. L. Nathan (L.) that migration to Australia in 1929, 1930, and 1931 was respectively 18,377, 8517, and 4459. The numbers who returned to Britain in the same years were 9516, 12,808, and 11,747. The corresponding New Zealand figures were: Migrated, 4700, 3981, 2206; returned, 2704, 2144, and 3623.
