Manawatu Results Palmerston North, May 26. The Manawatu Whippet Racing Club held a successful meeting at the sports ground yesterday, when a hurdles and a flat race were contested. The results are as follow:-— 175 yards Hurdles-—Final: J. Watts Old Tom (6yds.). 1: Mrs. J. Housemann’s Peter Piper (13yds.), 2. Won by a length. Peterson Open Handicap—Final: J. Watt’s Young Tom (23yds.), 1; F. Whiting’s Flying Tom (18yds.), 2.
