BRITAIN’S BUDGET
Presentation To-morrow London, April 15. Tile Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, has completed his plans for the Budget, which will be presented on Tuesday. The “Daily Telegraph’s” political contributor predicts that there will be no change in the standard rate of income tax. There will be slight changes in allowances, a reduction in the beer tax, and a re-imposition of the 4d. a pound import duty on tea.
