Induction Into Charges Two melliodist ministers were inducted into their new charges ou Thursday evening. 'l’he Rev. C. Blair, late bl Lyttelton’, was inducted into Urn charge of the Karori Methodist Church, aud the Rev. Frank E. Leadley, late of Ouehuuga. into the Hataitai Methodist Church. At the Rev. Blair’s induction, the Rev. H. J. Odell conducted, the Rev. C. Wickham led the devotions, and the address to the incoming minister was given by the Rev. Dr. Pinfold. After the service a social was held in the schoolroom, and Messrs. Crosbie aud Brooks, circuit stewards, and representatives ol other departments of church work, extended a hearty welcome Io Mr. and Mrs. blair. Several entertaining Hems were presented and supper was provided by women ol the congregation. . . ... The service at Hataitai was couducteu by the Rev. T. R- Richards, chairman ol the Wellington district, who delivered the induction address, Thd Rev. Mr. Leadley was presented to the inductor by the circuit stewards, Messrs. R.- Hampton amt W Moxham. After the induction service a social was held in the schoolroom, when n welcome was extended to Air. and Mrs. Leadley aud family. Speeches of welcome were made by the Revs. M. A. McDowell. associate minister for the Itataitai Church, E. J. Orange, ou behalt.ot the Wellington South Wluisters Association, W. E. Tomlin, Marauui Church, and Messrs. T. S. Hinds. Miramar Church. I). Moxlmm. Worser Bay Church, amil IL Hampton, Hataitai Church circuit. -Mrs. Moxham presented Mrs. Leadley with i buiiMiiet, uihl Mr Leadley suilably replied. Supper was supplieil by the ladies.
