PUBLIC BEQUESTS
By Late Mr. John McLean
Provision is made in the will of the late Mr. John McLean, of Wellington, for the following public bequests:— £lOO to Wellington Carillon Committee.
£lOO to be invested in the common fund of the Public Trust Office, the net income to be paid to the headmaster of the South Wellington Public School repurchase of prizes to be awarded annually to pupils who become proficient in the art of swimming. £lOO to the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand for the orphanage at Ber hampore. The residue of the estate, after making provision for certain bequests to relatives and friends, is given to the St. James Presbyterian Church of Newtown.
