Not for years has fashion been so generous in the way of dramatic lines and interesting backs for the formal evening gown. Agnes Samson. Customhouse Quay, shows exquisite models for lhe debutante —a cream satin frock of lite Empress Josephine period has all the romantic ebarm of pull sleeves, slender high-waisted bodice, and wide belt with a draped effect. A second frock is of ivory chiffon with yards and yards of filmy skirt cascading at. the back and a bodice of line looped bead fringe. For those who prefer a coloured frock, one would suggest a pencil pink ninon which has narrow frills of matching poult put on in groups, and a waist-length coatee of poult crossing In front and finishing in n bow at the side. —Advt.
