A USEFUL ARTICLE.

♦ ♦ <t Paper-racks are now' almost extinct, but here is a good idea for a paper and book box for either indoors, or summer outdoor use Which any boy can make. Get an ordinary tub from the grocer’s for a few' pence, remove the handle (1), sandpaper all rough edges and stain with a lark stain. In (2) you see how the three feet on which the tub stands are made. Three pieces of rustle wood are slightly sharpened at one end, and three holes are made in the tub, fix the legs into the holes firmly with the aid of a little glue. Make an ornamental border around the top of the tub of short brass-headed nails, and this useful little article is complete. You can put all magazines, papers, etc. in here instead of letting them stray all over the lawn. Jn winter it is equally useful indoors.
