STRIKES IN SPAIN
Anniversary of Republic (Rec. April 14, 11.20 p.m.) London, April 14. Spain to-day is celebrating the first anniversary of the Republic amid strikes and threats of strikes. The Madrid correspondent of “The Times” says that strikers set fire to pot tery works and attempted to blow up a convent. Citizens of Seville are guarding the churches day and night.
