FAVOURABLE BALANCE
Australia’s ’Overseas Trade EXPECTATION FOR YEAR Canberra. April 14. It is expected that in the present financial year Australia will have a favourable trade balance of not less than £36,000,000, which is £8,000,000 more than the annual interest commitments of Australia abroad. Statistics show that for the eight months ended February 29 exports from the Commonwealth exceeded imports by £22,000,000.
