To be Placed at Top of Campanile ANZAC DAY CEREMONY It Is proposed to provide & 500-watt electric light for the lantern-Uke enclosure at the top of the carillon campanile. » At the meeting of the combined committee in charge of the Anzac Day ceremony it was decided, on the motion of Mr. J. Spence, that this light should be kept on day and night for all time, as are the lights on the graves of Unknown Soldiers in London and European capitals. The suggestion that the campanile be flood-lighted, originally referred to in “The Dominion,” was considered desirable, but financial difficulties prevented It being given effect to at present.
