Southern Survey Completed COMMISSION RETURNS The radio coverage commissioners— Dr. M. A. F. Barnett, of the Scientific and Industrial Research Department,' and Mr. A. Gibbs, Chief Telegraph Engineer of the Post and Telegraph Department—returned to Wellington today, having Completed their radio investigations in the South Island. It is understood that the commission will spend a few days in Wellington in order to compile their report on South Island conditions- Every aspect of the problem has been investigated, and it is hoped that all manner of useful information will result. x As soon as the necessary work has been completed to bring the report on the South Island up to date, the commission intends to start off on its survey of the North Island. These investigations, it is thought, will take considerably longer than the time already spent in the south.
