Forged “Tote” Tickets MAN PLEADS GUILTY By Telegraph.—Brest, Association. Dunedin, March 14. In the' Dunedin Police Court this morning Robert Jolly, a labourer, aged 62, pleaded guilty to attempting to cash five £1 forged totalisator tickets at Wingatui on February .11, The totalisator clerk stated that he thought the tickets were genuine at first and stamped them. He then noticed that the tickets did not appear to be in order, and he asked Jolly to wait. He discovered that they were forgeries, and on returning found that accused bad gone. The police stated that Jolly was quite frank, and rendered assistance in connection with others implicated in the forging of tickets. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
