Cancellation Opposed VIEW FROM AUCKLAND By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 13. That the annual inter-university tournament, which the Canterbury College committee advocated suspending until further notice, should proceed is th** opinion of Mr. Nigel Wilson, an Auckland delegate. Mr. Wilson says that arrangements are too far advanced to permit of cancellation. The Canterbury committee made its decision at an emergency meeting on Saturday morning, giving the recent announcements which have affected students financially as the reason. NO OTAGO TEAM Association’s Decision By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, March 14. The Otago University Students’ Association decided against sending a team to the annual inter-University tournament to be held at Wellington at Easter on account of the present economic situation.
