Mrs. F. H. Wilkerson arrived -in Wellington on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Dormer, Lower Hutt. Miss Betty Hunt, “Wantwood,” Nelson, is spending a few weeks’ holiday in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. C. le Maistre, England, left Wellington on Saturday night for Christchurch. Mrs. J. A. Young and her daughter, Miss Iris Young, left Wellington last night for Hamilton. Mrs. J. Holmes Runnicles has returned to' Palmerston North from a visit to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Dawn, Karori, who have been on a motor trip in the north, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. H. Lawson, Featherston, and Miss Card (Mayoress of Featherston) leave to-night for a brief holiday at Christchurch. Dr. and Mrs. Park, Wellington, have taken Mrs. Bevan’s house at Paraparaumu. Dr. Park’s mother and sister are also there. Mrs. A. Sandral, Wellington, who has just returned from Christchurch, is leaving this week to join her husband at Waipawa, Mrs Duthle and Miss J. Duthie, in company with Mrs. Shailer Weston. Heretaunga, will motor to Auckland early this week for a ten days’ stay in Dr. E. K. McLean, of Hawke’s Bay, who has been the guest of Mrs. Douglas Brewer, has left Dunedin for Wellington en route for England. Professor and Mrs. Stanton Hicks, of Australia, who have been the guests of Mrs Hicks’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Haggitt, Albert Street, Dunedin, have returned to Wellington.
