Fritz Kreisler. the violinist, recently cancelled a concert in Montreal and made a dash to New York when he was informed by telegram that his fox terrier Rex was ill there. "There will be no more concerts for me till Rex is better,” Kreisler told his managers, but the dog was dead before he reached it. "My husband broke down and wept, when lie heard the news.” said Mrs. Kreisler.
