ROBBED OF SAVINGS
In Bottle for Safety DISCOVERY BY COUPLE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, January 12. The theft of a considerable sum in notes and gold, which had been placed in a pickle bottle for safe keeping, was discovered by Mr. and Mrs. Pepper, of Milson, on their return from, a visit to Wellington.
The amount taken was about £4O. and represented savings over a long period. .
