Association are arousing considerable interest, and there is every likelihood of a sawing event being added to the programme. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs. 11. Cotter, F. E. Ward, J. Algie, W. Fulton, E. L. Harvey, A. E. Olliver, jun., M. Conway, T. Daysh and C. Green has been set up to control the chops. A friendly cricket match between teams representing the telegraph branch of the Masterton ■ Post Oilice and the Masterton railways staff was plqyed on Solway Showgrounds at the week-end.
