Aeroplane Reaches Athens — % (Rec. January 10, 5.5 p.m.) Athens, January 9. Air Commodore Kingsford Smith left Rome at 7.20 a.m. and arrived here at 3.30 p.m. He will depart at 4 a.m. to-morrow. He left Marseilles nt 10.15 a.m. on Friday and arrived at Rome at 2.55 that afternoon. His time from Marseilles to Rome was 220 minutes, which is claimed to be a record, DEPARTURE FOR ALEPPO (Rec. January 11, 1 a.m.) Athens, January 10. Kingsford Smith took off at 4.15 a.m. for Aleppo.
