LONG CYCLE RACE

Auckland to Wellington EXPERIMENTAL JOURNEY During the Christmas holidays, C. Tasker, well-known Wellington amateur cyclist, tried himself out on a record cycling trip from Auckland to Wellington, and succeeded in knocking a few hours off Stan. Wright’s time, his total- riding time being 33 hours. Although his actual time on the journey from Auckland to Wellington was 72} hours, this was because he did not do any night riding.
