The Shaw, Savill. steamer Pakeha, left Lyttelton at noon yesterday for Wanganui, where she is due to continue her Homeward loading. She is to leave there again next Monday for Auckland and Wellington, to complete, is due here on January 11, and is scheduled to clear this port'finally on January 16 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. THE SYDNEY MARU. The O.S.K. Line motor-ship, Sydney Maru, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Melbourne, and berthed at the King’s Wharf to discharge Japanese cargo, and to load for Japan. She is to leave here again to-day for Auckland. thence to Sydney, Brisbane and Japan. The Federal Company are the local agents. ROTORUA’S MOVEMENTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that its liner Rotorua is to leave Auckland to-morrow for Opua,, Napier and Wellington, to complete her Homeward loading. She is due here on January 11, and is scheduled to, clear this port finally on January 13 for London, via the Panama Canal. WESTMORELAND IN BALLAST. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that the Federal steamer Westmoreland left Falmouth on Monday in ballast for New Zealand. She is due in New Zealand on February 4 to load Homewards.

The Federal Company advises that the Hertford is to leave Lyttelton to-day for Bluff, to continue her Homeward loading. She .will later complete at Gisborne, Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due here on January 18, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on January 21 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. PORT HUNTER AT LONDON. The C., and D. Line has received cabled advice that the Port Hunter, which left Wellington on November 19 for London, via the Panama Canal, reached her destination last Sunday morning. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Canadian National Steamships advise that .the Canadian Challenger is due at Wellington to-morrow from New Plymouth to continue discharge of her Montreal cargo and to load for New York, Boston and ’ Halifax. She is to leave here again next Monday for Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is now expected to clear the last-named port finally on January 9 for New York, Boston and Halifax, via the Panama Canal. OTAIO LEAVES DAKAR. The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-ship Otaio,'which left Liverpool on December 20 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, is now proceeding via Dakar and the Cape of Good Hope. She left Dakar last Sunday morning and is due at Auckland about January 24. ARDENVOHR AT COLON. Running under charter to the A. and A. Line, the new motor-ship Ardenvohr is reported to have reached Colon on December 23, en route from New York to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wanganui and Australia.
