Woman Rider Injured

Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, December 28. During the course of a consolation event at the Onepuhi sports on Saturday Miss M. J. Stewart, of Halcombe, received a broken collarbone and concussion when her horse, Gentleman Jack, fell at one of the'fences. Miss Stewart had been selected by the judge to go over the course again with three other competitors in order to determine the awards, and it was in doing this that the horse apparently slipped at the fourth fence. Medical assistance was sought from Marton.
