Eggs Falling in Price; Stone Fruits Plentiful
M ‘, th Christmas over, the price of eggs is sagging. It has dropped 2d. to 1/7 a dozen, and is likely to fall fjirther, the-market being very weak. Otherwise there is little movement in city shops, as holiday conditions have hampered business activities. ' Stone fruits are coming to the market in greater quantities, but there is no appreciable change in prices.
