The bowling of Brown was deadly. The schoolboys Rudd and Robinson justified their inclusion, the latter making top score., The Springboks shaped better in their second innings, the Cameron-Vil-I joen partnerships realising 153. The captain’s century was made in 70 minutes and was his first of the tour. His score included nineteen 4’s.
