South African Cricketers NEWCASTLE MATCH (Rec. December 13, 5.5 p.m.) Newcastle, December 13. The Country team failed badly in its first innings against the South Africans. The bowling of Brown was deadly. The schoolboys Rudd and Robinson justified their inclusion, the latter making top score., The Springboks shaped better in their second innings, the Cameron-Vil-I joen partnerships realising 153. The captain’s century was made in 70 minutes and was his first of the tour. His score included nineteen 4’s.
