Queensland Flood Waters CRISIS IN THREE DAYS Sydney, December 12. A vast body of water surging down the Barwon River is threatening riverside dwellers and endangering towns. Rain is still falling in the upper reaches. Tlie crisis is expected within three days. The body of Alex Thomson was found in the flooded Warrego River, in Queensland. Residents have evacuated the township of Toompine owing to a shortage of food and the rising waters. The plight of two families marooned on Orange Creek is considered dangerous. The Dawson River is forty feet above the summer level, and is still rising.
