Wellington’s Fine Week-end
Wellington enjoyed wonderful weather over the week-end. Saturday was' overcast but warm, with little wind. Yesterday the sun shone from a cloudless sky. It was very ■warm, with the lightest breeze from the south in the morning and a flat calm in the afternoon.
The weather in Christchurch on Saturday was dull, with a nice fall of rain lasting about two hours. There were further showers during the night, but the sky gradually cleared, and yesterday was fine, with a strong wind from the north-east. The barometer is falling and registers 30.05.
F.ine weather prcyailed at Auckland during the week-end, but the sky was very cloudy and threatening on Saturday. Conditions were humid, the wind being a light northerly. Yesterday was fine and sunny, the wind having changed to the north-east. The weather at Dunedin was dull and overcast on Saturday, with a light breeze from the south-west. Yesterday was gloriously fine, with a fresh north-east breeze. The barometer fell slightly during the morning, but is now steady at 30.00 in.
