Miss Jean Edwin is among Christchurch visitors to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A; J. Du Pont, Wellington, are staying at Christchurch. Mrs. K. Adamson, Oamaru, is at Wellington. , Mrs. W. Kerry and Miss G. Kerry, of Wellington, are visiting- Masterton. Miss Gladys Watkins, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. H. J. Bcadel, Paparoa Street, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jackson, Chapel Street, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. J. Greenfield, Dunedin, will arrive in Wellington at the end of this week for three weeks’holiday. j Mr; and Mrs. F. Dawn, Karori, and family will leave next week for Auckland, where they will spend the holidays. Mrs. 11. R. Sellers,? Kelburn, will leave for Christchurch this week on a visit to her mother, Mrs. Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Hartley, Dunedin, arrived at Wellington at the week-end for a holiday in the North Island. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Elworthy, Tlmaru, left Chistchurch on Friday night for,a holiday, in the North Island. Mr. and Mrs. Speer, Dunedin, will Arrive- at Wellington later in the week for the holidays. Mrs. F. V. Frazer, wife of Mr. Justice Frazer, arrived at Christchurch from Wellington on Saturday morning. The president and committee of the girls’ branch of the Navy League gave, a Christmas party to the patients and staff of the Red Cross Hospital in Hobson Street last week. Miss Julie Lancaster, Fitzgerald Avenue, Christchurch, arrived at Wellington on Saturday, en route to Sydney to stay with her aunt, Mrs. F. McLean. Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Guscott, Wellington, are the guests of Mrs. J. R. McKenzie, Roydon Lodge, Yaldhurst, Christchurch. , Mr. and Mrs. John P. Colwill, who have been on a year’s visit abroad; have returned to their home at Roseneath. Miss Eggers, Karaka Bay, ;is the guest of Mrs. W. L. Young, Wanganui, for a few days. Miss Eggers intends shortly to join the 'staff of the Alexandra Hospital, Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. Wood are Eltham visitors to Wellington.
