After meeting in Vivian Street, where they were refused a room at the Trades Hall, a party, representing the Unemployed Workers’ Movement marched down the footpaths of the city to Willis Street on Saturday morning. A large crowd gathered, and after half an hour the workers went to Bond Street, where the leaders held a short consultation and decided to return to Vivian Street.
