Campers’ Rubbish
Complaint is made by “A Wee Coo Cockie” concerning the rubbish left behind by campers, fishermen and others who spend outings on the lands on the south side of Bridge 31, Whiteman’s Valley. These people, the correspondent suggests, should be considerate enough to take their tins, bottles, etc., back with them after their day out, and should refrain from interfering with the farmers’ fences, rails, etc. “As the above people are becoming a confounded nuisance,” concludes the correspondent, “I am seriously thinking of prohibiting campers and others altogether.”
