First to Leave Dominion NEW SEASON’S CLIP i " The first two consignments of this season’s wool to leave New Zealand left Auckland last Saturday, the C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Fairy taking 9000 bales for London and the Continent, and the Japanese motorship Melbourne Maru taking 750 bales for Japan. Last season the first wool shipment was taken by the 0. and D. Line steamer Port Nicholson, which left Auckland on December,4 for London with 12,500 bales. The Shaw, Savlll liner lonic, which is to leave Auckland next Saturday for Southampton and London, will also take a large consignment of wool from the first sales held at Auckland and Napier.- The Federal steamer Northumberland, leaving Napier on December 19, and the C. and D. Line motorships Port Huon, leaving Wellington on December 21, and Port Dunedin, leaving Lyttelton on December 24, will also take many thousands of bales of wool.
