BRAZIL’S CONSUL

Mr. George Robertson FIRST APPOINTMENT Mr. George Robertson, of Wellington, has been appointed the first Consul for Brazil in New Zealand. Hitherto Mr. Robertson has acted as Consular Agent under the Consul-General for Brazil m Sydney, but now he will be directly responsible to Brazil. Mr. Robertson has had a fairly extensive experience of consular work, having at one time been a consular agent for Italy here, in which position he was held in much respect by the Italian community. Mr. Robertson speaks Italian and has also a working knowledge of Portuguese.
