Sir, —In your summary of my remark* anent your editorial note, you do m* a great injustice. Your summary distorts the statement entirely. Never have I endeavoured to convey to any person that idleness is approvable. The ycry contrary is the fact. Unemployment, idleness. the dole are all menaces to civilisation. All these are the outcome of a vile money system. What I emphasised and will continue to emphasise is that it is as poisonous as a cage full of rattlesnakes to classify as “indolent and improvident” those people who have become “socially unfortunate” as a result of the breakdown of the present money system.—l ametc., P.
