RUGBY COLTS TOUR
Match With Marlborough OTHER SPECIAL GAMES AU players who took part in the Wellington Rugby colts tour to Pahiatua and Danneyirke have been selected to train for the match against Marlborough, at Blenheim, on September 12. An addition to the list is Ball, wing-three-quarter of the Wellington Club. The players will train at the Oriental gymnasium at 8 p.m. to-morrow. . ■ ‘ • At last evening’s meeting of the union permission was granted for a match to be played between old boys of the Sacred Heart College. Auckland, and St, Patrick’s College, Wellington. . The game will take place at Newtown Park at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. ‘ Permission was also granted for a match to be played between the Johnsonville juniors and a junior team from Hawera, at Johnsonville on Saturday, , The union’s secretary. Mr. A. Ki Neilson. reported that the Radio Broadcasting Company had agreed to broadcast the Test match at Auckland from IYA on' September 12, and the Wellington-Tara-naki match, at Wellington, from 2YA.
