Woolley Trounces New Zealand Bowling COUNTY AHEAD (Special to Press Association.) Canterbury, August 27. Magnificent batting by Woolley gave Kent * first innings lead of 111 runs when the cricket match against the New Zealanders was continued to-day in fine weather. At stumps New Zealand, with seven wickets in hand, was still 49 runs behind. The weather was fine and the attendance 6000. The New Zealanders’ weak catching was largely responsible for Kent’s good score.
