Competitions Concluded The Hutt Valley primary schools Rugby competitions have concluded. Eastern Hutt School won the senior competition, taking the Baldwin Shield. The team had ten wins nnd one loss, scoring 199 points against 28. Petone West was second, winning nine matches and losing two, and scoring 158 points against 28. Trentham School won the intermediate class, taking the Samuel Cup. Last year Trentham was runner-up. Trentham vzon 11 matches and lost one, and scored 250 points, against 21. Petone Convent was second with 10 wins and two losses, scoring 200 points against 25. Petone West retained the "Chronicle” Cup In the junior class. At the end of the second round Eastern Hutt, Hutt Central and Petone West were level with two defeats each. In the knock-out play-off Eastern Hutt beat Hutt central and Petone West defeated Eastern Hutt.
