INDOOR BOWLS
All effort has been made by interested branches of one of the friendly societies in Wellington to establish an indoor bowling association on similar lines to the Auckland association. At the first meeting held on Tuesday evening the Wellington Friendly Societies’ Indoor Bowling Association was formed. This body is open for affiliation to airbranches of friendly societies in Wellington. The first tournament is to lie held , late in September. Seven branches of one order have intimated intention to take part.
