Pilot Saved by Parachute

OBSERVER’S FATAL ERROR

Prague, August 4,

Flying at 6000 feet a heavy bombing plane took fire. The pilot parachuted safely, but the observer, over-excited, opened his parachute too early and was killed.

The machine fell on the roof of a distillery, which, with an adjoining shop, took fire.
