Bricks Up to Standard Satisfies! that the bricks used came up to the standard required by the specifications, Mr. T. B. McNeil, S.M., gave judgment in the Magistrate’s Court in favour of A. E. Robinson, a contractor (Mr. Barnett), against Oliver Richard Protise. a solicitor (Mr. Ongley). Robinson hnd claimed £309 for materials supplied nnd work and labour done at a block of flats in Brougham Street. Protise had counter-claimed for the same amount, saying that in accordance with the specifications the bricks should be “good common stocks.” but that- Robinson had used an inferior quality known as “chimney bricks.” Judgment wns given for Robinson for full amount and costs.
