Complete List of Tourneys GRASS GRUB TROUBLE Through tho Board of Green-keeping Research, the New Zealand Golf Council ' hopes shortly to be able to give all clubs advice regarding the eradication of tho grass grub, Which has been playing such havoc with fairways lately. This announcement was. made at the monthly meeting of tile Council of the New Zealand Golf Association tills week. The chairman, Sir Alexander Roberts, presided, and other members present were Colonel R. O. Chesney and Messrs. A. D. S. Duncan, M. J. Crombie, W. A. Kiely, L. 0. 11. Tripp, and G. O. Sutton (secretary). Correspondence was received from . Messrs. Holford, Abraham and Seifert , and from ftn affiliated club on tho subject of the eradication of the grass grub. One new elub was elected, the Flemington Golf Club, Waipukurau, and two clubs tendered their resignations, the Lumsden Golf Club, Lumsden, and the Coromandel Golf Club, Coromandel, Women’s Championship. It was resolved to vote £5O. as usual, to the Rotorua Ladies’ Golf Club toward the Cost of trophies at the New Zealand ladies’ championshiij meeting, which is to be held on the Rotorua links in October.

A decision Was also arrived at as to the amount to be expended on amateur trophies at the New Zealand championship meeting at Shirley in th© same month. Association Professionals. It was reported that Arthur Pass’s engagement has now been terminated, and that Norman Fuller is awaiting further engagements. \ ' Several letters regarding rulings were considered, and the decisions will be reported to clubs.
