Lack of Information EXPLANATIONS NEEDED Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, August 4. At the conclusion of a conference ot farming, local-body and automobile interests yesterday a delegate asked those present if they were in a position to explain to him the '.Government’s latest unemployment legislation. He had, he said, read everything possible in relation to the new tax, but was now no further advanced than before. .... „ Mr. A. Grayson, Auckland, said that the Government had apparently relied on the Press to supply the information that the taxpayers required. He felt that the Government should advertise the scheme through the newspapers of the country. . . Papers on the subject were perused by the meeting, and the hope was expressed that fuller information on the Act would be disseminated by the Government.
