MUSICIAN’S YACHT

Visit to Wellington Soon Touring the Pacific in his own yacht, M. Zlatko Balokovic, the Croatian violinist, will visit New Zealand in the middle of next month. His wife accompanies him, and he is now in Australia. M. Balokovic will give a series of recitals in the Dominion, opening in Wellington. He will probably be the first musician to have used a private yacht for a New Zealand tour. The yacht, the Northern Light, is a 167-ton vessel, and in command is a former master of one of Sir Thomas Lipton’s famous yachts. The cruise began at San Francisco on April 2. A British crew is craned, and Madame Balokovic, an American, takes a part in navigation. Baron Fleetwood is with the party as accompanist. .
