AUSTRALIAN TRADE Union Cargo Service The following are the moTremente of Union Company vessels In its intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella left Melbourne last Friday for Auckland, where she ie due next Saturday. _ The Kallngo from Westport is due at Sydney to-day, thence to Newcastle to load for Miramar and Wanganui. The Karepo, loaded for Melbourne and Adelaide, is bar-bound at Greymouth. She is expected to clear the bar early this week, and after discharging at Melbourne is to load at Edithburg, Adelaide, and Melbourne for New Plymouth, Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Castlecliff. The .Kini, from Grafton and Newcastle, via Auckland, Tauranga, and Napier, is due here on Wednesday, and later proceeds to Lyttelton and Greymouth. The Walkouaitl Is to leave Bluff about Wednesday for Sydney, thence to Newcastle and Sydney to load for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Timaru. The Walnul, from Wellington, is to leave Bluff to-day for Melbourne, thence on July 29 to Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington, HIKURANGI AT AUCKLAND. The steamer Hlkurangl reached Auckland yesterdav afternoon with a fruit cargo from Norfolk Island. ELMBANK AT AUCKLAND. With a full cargo of raw sugar, the Bank Line motor-ship Elmbank reached Auckland on Saturday afternoon from Java. KARAMEA LEAVES LONDON. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that its motor-ship Karamea left London last Thursday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Timaru. She' is due at Lyttelton on August 18. RUAHINE SAILS. Having completed her homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine, left Wellington at 7 a.m. on Saturday for Southampton and London, via the Panama Cadal. NORFOiLK ISLAND SERVICE, The departure of the Burns, Philp steamer Morinda from Sydney, on her first trip in the new Sydney-Lord Howe-Nor-folk-Auckland service, has been postponed to July 25. She is due at Auckland on August 2, and sails again for Norfolk Island the following day. HAURAKI AT VANCOUVER. Cabled advice has been received that tho Union Company 'e motor-ship Haurakl reached Vancouver last Thursday from Wellington. She Is to load at Pacific Coast ports for Papeete, Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney, is to clear Los Angeles on August 12, and is due at Auckland on September 4. ULIMAIROA LEAVES SYDNEY. Cabled advice has been received that the Huddart-Parker steamer Ullmaroa left Sydney at 1 p.m. on Saturday for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday morning. She is to leave there again on Friday on the return trip to Sydney. RANGITANE AT COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that its motor-liner Rangltane, en route from London and Southampton to Auckland and Wellington, reached Colon last Thursday morning. She is duo at Auckland on August 6. PORT FAIRY LEAVES COLON. The C. & D. Line has received cabled advice that its motor-ship Port Fairy, which left Auckland on June 26 for London, cleared Colon last Friday. THE WAIRUNA. The Union Company advises that the Walruna arrived at Suva last Thursday from Newcastle to load sugar for Vancouver. She Is to leave Suva on July 28, and is fixed to load at Pacific Coast ports during the last week in August and first half of September for Papeete, Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is to clear Los Angeles on September 12, and ie due at Auckland on October 9. WAIKAWA AT AUCKLAND. From Los Angeles via Papeete the Union. Company's Walkawa reached Auckland on Saturday afternoon. She brings Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington’, Napier, Lyttelton, Melbourne, and Sydney, and is due here on July 26. PORT DUNEDIN’S MOVEMENTS. The C & D. Line advises that its motorship Port Dunedin is now due at Wellington to-morrow morning from Lyttelton to continue her homeward loading. Slie is to leave here again on Wednesday for New Plymouth and Auckland to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the northern port finally on July 31 for London, via the

Panama Canal. NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER. Cabled advice -has been received by the Union Company that the R.M.S. Niagara, from Sydney and Auckland, reached Vancouver last Friday morning. She is to leave there again on Wednesday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland, and Sydney, and Is due at Auckland on August 11. PORT GISBORNE LEAVES LONDON. The C. & D. Line has received cabled advice that its motor-ship Port Gisborne left London last Friday for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here on August 24. RANGITATA LOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitata is due at Napier this morning from Lyttelton, to complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence her homeward loading. She will subsequently complete at Auckland. Lyttelton. Port Chalmers, and Wellington, is due here on August 10, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on August 15 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. WEATHER BULLETIN. • The Marine Department advises that the general weather bulletin from the Wellington wireless station which was discontinued some time ago is being issued as formerly at 0930 GMT on a wave length of 375 kc/s (SOO M) (A2). The message contains a general statement of the weather systems affecting New Zealand waters; forecasts for New Zealand ; New Zealand waters and the eastern Tasman Sea ( followed by reports from the following seventeen stations: —Akaroa Lighthouse. Auckland. Cape Campbell, Cape Egmont, Cape Maria Van Diemen, Chatham Islands, East Cape, Farewell Spit. Grevmouth. Hobart. Napier, Norfolk Island. Nugget Point. Puysegur Point, Stephen Island, Sydney, and 'Wellington. The reports contain observations of barometric pressure in inches, air temperature in degrees (F.), wind direction and force (Beaufort scale), and the state of the sea In plain language. Masters of vessels desiring a weather report may obtain same on request. Any changes involved will be debited by the Post and Telegraph Department to the ship concerned. The coast station charge for a message of inquiry regarding weather conditions is two shillings for twenty words. This charge includes the cost of the reply from the coast station.
