PATEA SEAT
“Independent United” At a meeting held at Hawera on Thursday evening representative of all parts of the I’atea electorate, Mr. G. V. Pearce was unanimously chosen as an Independent United Candidate for the Patea seat at the general election. . Mr Pearce represented Patea in Parliament from 1908 to 1919 in the interest* of the Reform Party.
